Job Summary:
\n
The Academic Services Administrator (ASA) is responsible for the administration of experiential programs and functions related to experiential instruction and course delivery.
\n
The ASA is involved in a broad range of organizational duties supporting instruction, such as posting and assessing materials within learning management systems (LMS), building and posting assessments, ensuring compliance with onboarding materials, supporting curricular alignment efforts, and implementation of other course-specific needs.
\n
The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, creative, and possess strong organizational skills and work efficiently; they must also be able to engage collaboratively with faculty, chairs, and deans. The position will report directly to the Assistant Dean of Experiential Programs.This position requires a Master's degree in education or a field of study related to the academic program, or a Bachelor's degree in those same fields with a minimum of two years of experience.

A public employer may include a post secondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed:

(b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
\n
(c) Six years of direct experience for a master's degree;

(d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or

Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.

Preferred Qualification:
\n
Experience with CORE ELMS, Canvas LMS, ExamSoft, and other educational technology, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
\n
Experience working with compliance and accreditation information/reports.
\n

- Promote activities that enhance learning outside the classroom. \n
- Develop and amend affiliation agreements in collaboration with the Office of General Counsel. \n
- Support and facilitate academic instruction for successful course delivery. \n
- Support and facilitate the administration and analysis of academic assessments. \n
- Continuous quality improvement related to experiential education (curriculum, accreditation, assessment, and operations) \n

40% - Coordinates onboarding for IPPE and APPE to ensure that students are able to attend site on time and in alignment with affiliation agreements, ACPE standards, and the PharmD program requirements. Assists in identifying and resolving specific challenges to onboarding or licensure by promoting and ensuring increased communication and flow of knowledge among stakeholders. Assist in the coordination of annual orientation activities for students throughout the curriculum.
\n
25% - Serve as a primary point of contact for the college's professional experiential program related to onboarding and affiliation agreements. Assist in establishing and maintaining affiliation agreements with local, national, and international affiliates with the Office of Experiential Education. Provides general operational and administrative support for the experiential program.
\n
10% - Assist with communication regarding program and University policies and procedures. Maintains and administers systems and struct ures to manage information flow between the Office of Experiential Education and students, preceptors, coordinators, and other department staff members at the college and practice sites. Serves as a resource for students, faculty, preceptors, and visitors regarding the onboarding, licensure, and affiliation agreements within the Office of Experiential Education.

10% - Assists students and preceptors in the use of experiential education software systems. Operates and maintains several databases for onboarding, licensure, and affiliation agreements. Support experiential and academic programs using electronic tools and databases to capture experiential learning opportunities, evaluations, and statistical data.
\n
15% - Fulfills college responsibilities to program marketing to existing and new preceptors. Supports mentorship and program development activities, researching and recommending solutions to create a seamless transition with onboarding between Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE). Identifies areas of process improvement. Recommends system customization based on changing office and program needs. Develops assignments and onboarding materials.
