Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
- Partner with clients and internal teams to assess client goals and develop strategies that leverage the full Hearst portfolio of capabilities and ad products.
- Collaborate on RFP strategy and responses with Sales, Marketing, and Research teams; support pre-sale research and pitch development.
- Own the creation of compelling media plans that meet client KPIs, drive revenue, and comply with pricing and business rules.
- Book campaigns in the Order Management system and ensure campaign details align between media plans, agency IOs, and contracts.
- Lead campaign kick-offs, manage timelines and assets, and clearly communicate deliverables to post-sale teams.
- Monitor campaign delivery, optimize as needed, and manage updates in partnership with Campaign Management and Paid Social teams.
- Contribute to performance analysis and wrap reports, using insights to identify upsell or renewal opportunities.
- Serve as a product expert, proactively identifying areas for process or product improvement and collaborating with leadership to implement change.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
- 3+ years of successful experience in media planning, sales strategy, or a related field.
- Ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines across multiple accounts.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey expectations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven relationship-building skills and a client-first mindset.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with a professional yet approachable attitude.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, and Salesforce.
- Hybrid role based in New York City; employees are expected to be in the office 4 days per week.

The base salary for this role is between $76,000 - $93,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
