The incumbent will be responsible for Higher level tasks related to accounting/finance duties.

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant filed (Business, Finance degree or proven track record of working with finances.)
2. Internship or 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, finance preferred.
3. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word. Upon direction, Must be able to Independently create budget spreadsheets and budget calculations in excel.
4. Upon direction and guidance on assignments, must be able to review and interpret guidelines.
5. Ability to assist with proposal preparation, including gathering information, formatting, and creating budgetary documents in excel.
6. Some purchasing of orders may be requested or assisting with entering expenses in University Concur system.
7. Customer service mindset and willingness to learn.
8. Comfortable asking questions and trouble shooting to find answers.
9. The position would be M-F to work (flexible on hours and willing to consider part-time, i.e 3-4 days instead of 5) I prefer not starting before 7:30 or no later than 9:00 a.m.
10. Initially in office for setup and brief training, however will consider remote. This will be a discussion during the interview and depends on the qualifications of the individual.

Bachelor's degree is Preferred with 1-2 years experience. In lieu of education, experience will be considered.
