The Team
Join our rapidly growing AI & Analytics (AI&A) team within the Corporate Performance Improvement practice, where you'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and strategic business innovation. As an AI&A Strategy Manager, you will collaborate across practice areas to deliver projects that range from AI strategy and readiness assessments to AI use case development for clients, including Fortune 500 companies and emerging industry leaders.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how organizations think about and deploy AI at scale. You will collaborate closely with client executives, applying your consulting and strategy development skills to deliver tangible results. How you will contribute
- Lead project workstreams effectively by combining strategic consulting with hands-on involvement in designing and implementing AI-driven strategies and solutions
- Analyze complex client challenges and translate them into actionable AI strategies and solutions that address business needs
- Craft compelling narratives to clearly communicate the value and impact of AI-driven approaches, ensuring alignment with client goals
- Collaborate with data scientists and technical teams to understand AI solutions and present them in a clear, engaging, and strategic manner to clients
- Build strong client relationships through regular interactions, demonstrating executive presence and professionalism
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposal creation, sales initiatives, and identifying opportunities for growth
- Identify client needs and opportunities for A&M, leveraging your network to maintain and expand business relationships
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment that values diverse perspectives and encourages engagement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in developing and executing enterprise analytics and AI strategies, including identifying high-impact use cases, building business cases with quantified ROI, and creating actionable strategic roadmaps
- Proven ability to research and analyze complex problem statements, synthesize large volumes of information, and distill key insights to develop effective AI strategies
- Experience collecting information from client stakeholders via interviews, surveys and workshops to ensure successful implementation of analytic and AI solutions
- Familiarity with advanced AI technologies, such as Generative AI and Agentic AI, with the ability to shape innovative strategies and collaborate effectively with technical teams
- Familiarity with the various Generative and Agentic AI tools, frameworks and platforms, with the ability to support technology selection and recommendation
- Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex concepts to C-suite executives and other senior stakeholders
- Prior experience in consulting or a comparable client-facing role, with a strong focus on strategy and analytics
- Knowledge of AI ethics frameworks, regulatory compliance programs, and risk management protocols (preferred but not required)
- Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $135,000 - $190,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
