Job Description
This position is for Stevens students currently enrolled. Must have a fulltime status. Bachelors Degree required. This is a part-time hourly position.
Airport Pickup Representatives (APRs) play a critical role in helping new students transition smoothly to life at Stevens Institute of Technology. In this position, APRs provide virtual assistance to incoming students who are utilizing Graduate Student Life Arrival Services. Representatives are expected to be readily available on Zoom during assigned shifts to respond to questions and offer support related to arrival logistics. This includes providing guidance on transportation, check-in procedures, and general transition concerns.
A key responsibility of the APR is to assist students with questions about the Stevens-sponsored Uber voucher. APRs must be familiar with the Uber voucher process, including how students can activate the voucher through a link sent to their email or within the Uber app. They should be able to explain which pickup and drop-off locations are permitted. APRs should also clarify that the voucher is single-use and cannot be applied retroactively.
