What You'll Do
As an Applications Scientist Intern, you will identify technical needs for our customers, collaborate to create solutions, and communicate those solutions effectively. This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational and problem-solving abilities, and technical expertise. You'll gain hands-on experience in:

• Collaborating with Applications Scientists and Product Managers on application development initiatives
• Researching trends in materials research
• Developing experiments and protocols
• Characterizing temperature, magnetic, and/or electronic platforms for emerging customer use cases
• Measuring novel materials using existing research platforms and protocols
• Assisting in troubleshooting applications and resolving customer service issues

What We're Looking For

• Current enrollment in advanced undergraduate or graduate studies in materials science, electrical engineering, physics, physical chemistry, or a relevant discipline
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Basic coding skills to develop data acquisition and automation routines ideally in Python, C++/C#, LabVIEW, or equivalent
• Ability to preserve the confidentiality of information
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
