- Conceptualize, design, and produce content for print, digital, newsletters, and social media platforms.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, photographers, and illustrators to craft cohesive visual storytelling.
- Lead design for both Men's Health and support select initiatives on Women's Health, maintaining brand consistency.
- Work closely with the Creative Director to evolve and uphold the brand's visual identity.
- Art direct photo shoots and create detailed briefs for photographers, illustrators, and stylists.
- Design special sections, branded content, and editorial extensions.
- Lead vertical meetings, project manage timelines, and present creative direction to internal teams.
- Review and markup color corrections and prepare files for prepress and production.
- 5+ years of experience in art direction or graphic design, ideally within lifestyle, fitness, or health media.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Experience with web and workflow tools like Figma, Airtable, Miro, and CMS platforms.
- Excellent typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills.
- Strong production knowledge, including prepress and color correction.
- Effective communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Photo shoot experience and a comfort level directing stylists and creative teams.
Hybrid schedule: In-office 4 days a week in New York City.

The base salary for this role is between $83,000 - $96,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
