Description

Starting Rate: $21.39-$26.75 per hour for day shift with a 7% increase for night shift.

Work Hours: Day Shift - 8 or 10 hour shifts

Location: We have 2 locations in Crawfordsville, IN: North Plant at 1009 Sloan Street; South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West. This job is for the North Plant.

As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will:

• Set up, Adjust & Operate a single piece of Machinery
• Participate in training to prepare to promote into a Lead operator position
• Inspect equipment for safety issues
• Monitor quality, output and productivity
• Learn to utilize tools to measure and adjust machine to target levels
• Learn and engage in preventative maintenance tasks as required
• Assist lead operator with providing guidance to crew members
• Work in a team environment and cross-train with others

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the duration of your shift

• Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge
