Evergreen Armored, a currency logistics and security company, seeks a full-time Assistant Operations Manager for our new Nampa, Idaho branch. As a working manager, this position provides oversight of daily operations in order to support the efficient and accurate transport of currency and other valuables on behalf of customers. You will have the exciting opportunity to launch this brand new location and build your team from the ground up with the support of senior leadership.
The ideal candidate is flexible, collaborative, and willing and qualified to step into any role in the branch as needed, including operating armed security transit vehicles or vaulting operations.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supervision
- Provide direct supervision of vault and processing staff and/or technician staff, depending on size and scope of assigned branch. Provide additional backup supervisory support to Evergreen Leadership Team, ensuring daily operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company policy.
- Oversee assigned employee performance through regular one-on-one meetings, coaching, and performance evaluations to support employee engagement, professional development and maintain operational standards.
- Support Evergreen Leadership Team in addressing employee performance issues by providing staff with clear and constructive feedback. Collaborate with Evergreen's Leadership Team and Human Resources to deliver corrective actions and performance improvement plans as needed.
- Act as a role model, genuinely participate in decision-making and actively display the core values.
Operations, Security, and Compliance
- Oversee daily operations, including but not limited to, route efficiency and scheduling, driving, ATM maintenance and troubleshooting, processing operations, and vaulting operations as assigned.
- Maintain confidential records in compliance with company policies, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, Anti-Money Laundering Regulations, and other regulations.
- Recommend changes in policy and procedure and assist in the implementation of changes.
- Maintain operational knowledge of transit and vaulting operations and assist in training when required.
- Manage the fleet of vehicles, including scheduling for service and tracking maintenance records.
- Ensure vault balancing and auditing standards are in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain depot security and respond to branch threats when necessary.
Other Job Functions
- Function as an Armored Service Technician or Vault Processor when necessary.
- Contribute to Evergreen Armored goals by staying up to date on industry standards, and technology.
- Participate in developmental strategy meetings and assist in tasks assigned by the Branch Manager.

Physical Activities Required to Perform Job Duties:
Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 20% of the time is spent over the road driving. Balance of time (approximately 80%) is spent walking while working, entering and exiting office buildings.
Speaking/Hearing: Clear diction and acute hearing are necessary for effective communication with co-workers, customers, and outside agencies, by telephone, and in person.
Vision: Corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary to effectively use computers, handheld scanners, and interpret written information.
Lifting/Carrying/Pushing/Pulling: The ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds is necessary for transporting currency and/or cargo.
Stooping/Kneeling: The ability to stoop and kneel is necessary for accessing vaults, ATMs, and currency.
Reaching/Handling: Good manual dexterity is necessary for computer keyboard use and for retrieving and working with appropriate paperwork, equipment, and supplies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate's degree in Business Management, Criminal Justice, or an equivalent combination of industry-related education and training is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of security experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Must meet the credit history standards set by Maps Credit Union.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT Physical and provide a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Ability to obtain any state-required licenses, certifications, or training within 90 days to perform Security Services.
- Strong knowledge of currency processing and bank operations for processing procedures is preferred.
- Requires the availability to work Monday Friday and occasional Saturday hours if needed.
- Must be bondable.
Typical Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am 4:00 pm. Route schedules will vary, and this person should have the ability to flex hours and work an occasional Saturday as needed.
This position will require a two-week training at our Keizer, Oregon facility.
Starting salary (exempt) is $60,000 $65,000 per year.
