- Assistant Spa Director - Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock
Description
The Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock is seeking an Assistant Spa Director. This luxurious property is surrounded by Sedona's famous red rocks andis less than a mile from the village of Oak Creek. This is an outstanding opportunity for an aspiringresort spa professional to advance their career and expertise with a world class facility, mentor and company.
What will I be doing?
The Assistant Director manages the daily activities Spa and Fitness Center. The Assistant Director helps oversee all aspects of the department including coaching and training staff, monitoring the facilities with the assistance of Engineering and Housekeeping, coordinating daily schedules for massages, treatments and fitness classes. Collaborates with the Director of Spa to create Spa Menus and a tasteful environment, is aware of current Spa market trends and is able to sell Spa Retail in a creative and successful manner. Also,will comply with any other additional requests that may arise pertaining to Spa and Activities duties.
Specific duties and qualifications:
- Oversee the daily operations of the spa opening and closing procedures.
- Providing excellent customer service to clients.
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- Answering phone calls, setting appointments, and greeting clients upon arrival.
- Drive service and retail sales by educating clients on products and services.
- Maintain a professional and impeccable spa environment for staff and clients.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and management
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching, and development skills.
- Work experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic economics.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the organization's management team.
- Evidence of the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.
- Maintain and restock inventory.
- Experience with Book4time and specific Hilton brand experience is highly desirable

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
• Knowledge of Book4Me, Unifocus, and hotel industry spa experience
