Position Summary
Terrasmart is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Logistics to lead logistics operations across our warehouse, distribution centers, international supply chain, and manufacturing facility. This role oversees end-to-end material movement-from supplier to job site-ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery to support large-scale solar construction projects.
Salary Range
Salary is dependent on experience and will range from $125,000 annually to $140,000 annually.
What You'll Do:
- Lead logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations across multiple locations and 3PL partners.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, material handling, and in-house shipping/receiving processes.
- Manage end-to-end shipment planning, scheduling, and tracking for domestic and international materials.
- Optimize warehouse layouts, workflows, and inventory control systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, streamline operations, and enhance logistics performance.
- Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse and logistics team.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Project Management to support project needs.
- Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10 years of logistics and supply chain experience; 5 years in leadership roles.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor required).
- Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Background in construction materials or manufacturing is a plus.
- Ability to operate across warehouse and office environments; up to 25% travel.
