- Associate Manufacturing Engineer
Description
Position Summary:
The Associate Manufacturing Engineer designs, evaluates, sets up, and optimizes necessary equipment and tooling for the optimum production of industrial and consumer goods. He/she oversees production installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of such equipment and performs work measurement for the establishment of standards. This individual works closely with other engineering disciplines in the design and application of new products and oversees the implementation of new products into production.
Responsibilities:
- Design, evaluate, acquire, set-up, and optimize necessary equipment and tooling for the optimum production of industrial and consumer goods.
- Assist and recommend action to control cost of tooling and control cost of manufacturing procedures.
- Determine and recommend equipment upgrade and replacement costs.
- Provide technical information and assistance in maintaining production machines and equipment.
- Assist and help train production personnel in the operation and proper care of machines and equipment.
- Assist other Manufacturing Engineers in tool and equipment layouts and development.
- Assist in maintaining ISO Quality Standards plant-wide.
Requirements:
Education: Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or related
Experience: 4 years of manufacturing experience.
Skills: CNC programming; CAM/CAD programming
Location: Tallassee, Alabama
