The English Department offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate courses to meet the needs of students with a diversity of interests, and academic and professional backgrounds. They learn critical approaches to texts and issues that enable them to interpret and compare positions, to read closely, critically, and with empathy, to conduct research, to weigh evidence, and to write with insight and expertise. |

| Position Summary | Instructors are needed to teach: WR 222 Writing Research Papers Introduction to academic inquiry, with focus on evaluating and engaging with secondary research and on conventions for documentation. WR 323 Writing as Critical Inquiry Study and practice of writing and research in various contexts, with focus on pursuing critical questions and crafting rhetorical discourse. |
| Minimum Qualifications | Master's Degree from an accredited institution in English or related field, and two years prior college-level teaching experience in composition. |
| Preferred Qualifications | PhD or MFA with specialty in Rhetoric and Composition. |
