Description
Managing the ordering and stocking of central supply items (briefs, over the counter meds, gloves, gowns, etc.) Managing inventory Stocking the facility and organizing the inventory Communicating and managing the overuse of items Identifying new products and systems that would benefit the nursing staff and facility Helping in other departments as needed Maintaining a budget Maintains good relationships with outside vendors Basic understanding of contracts and ordering software Supervisory Requirements This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities Qualification Education and/or Experience GED or High School Diploma C.N.A certification preferred Language Skills Ability to read, write and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and vendors Mathematical Skills Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide & percentages Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations To preform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in the Microsoft Suite products.
