Description
The University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Chiropractic Physician to join the Chiropractic Division within the Department of Neurosurgery, Brain & Spine. This role primarily involves providing high-quality chiropractic clinical care, with opportunities to engage in research activities contingent upon successful grant acquisition and salary coverage.This requires appropriate training in medicine as provided in the state licensing requirements, and licensure as a Chiropractor in the State of Florida. The typical duties of this position involve providing direct medical services to clients in appropriate settings. However, this position may also be responsible for conducting workshops and seminars, and may participate in clinical programs, curriculum development and academic program management.
Work Environment
- Clinical care provided at the USF Morsani Clinic.
- Research activities based in the NeuBaC (Neuromusculoskeletal Biomechanics and Chiropractic) Research Lab.
- Collaborative engagement with USF Athletics for athlete care and performance support.
This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution.
- This position requires licensure to practice Chiropractic medicine in accordance with Chapter 460, Florida Statutes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior research experience or interest in pursuing grant-funded projects.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in:
- Non-surgical spinal decompression (NSSD)
- Concussion care and recovery
- Athletic performance and rehabilitation

- Deliver evidence-based chiropractic care in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
- Collaborate with neurosurgery, sports medicine, and rehabilitation teams to support integrative spine and concussion care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and contribute to patient-centered treatment planning.
- Analyzes records, reports, tests and examination information to diagnose condition to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintains compliance with established policies and procedures, quality assurance, safety, environmental, infection control and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
- Optional: Conduct research in areas such as non-surgical spinal decompression (NSSD), concussion management, and athletic performance, contingent on external funding.
- Engage with USF Athletics to support athlete health and recovery.
