- Class 1 Material Handler
Description
Job DescriptionAs a Material Handler level 1 here at Honeywell, You will report to the Material Management Leader and you'll work out of our St. Louis, MO location on a On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of our supply chain by accurately handling materials, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify accuracy, quality and quantity of incoming/outgoing materials and stage appropriately.
- Label and document materials accordingly.
- Identify, locate and process materials for job orders.
- Maintain, replenish and account for inventory of materials.
- Process, bar code and document returns, and communicate appropriately
- Maintain condition of materials by conducting regular audits and report appropriately.
- Collaborate with departments to locate missing materials; correct and replace damaged materials.
- Required to work annual inventory of all materials for the site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

US Person Requirements:
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Technical education is a plus.
- Computer literacy. SAP, Oracle, MS.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing and lifting at least 40 pounds.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety and quality.
