- Prepare tasty and well-balanced meals for residents following set menus and dietary guidelines
- Cook a variety of foods in large quantities with attention to flavor and presentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen at all times
- Prepare and serve special diets and pureed meals accurately
- Record and monitor food temperatures for quality and safety
- Work cooperatively with staff across all departments to ensure smooth meal service
- Assist in training and supporting other dietary team members
