What You'll Do

🍽️ Prepare high-quality meals in large quantities following menus and dietary guidelines
🥗 Accurately prepare special diets and pureed foods as needed
📋 Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are always maintained
🌟 Help create an enjoyable dining experience for residents
🧼 Clean and maintain kitchen, equipment, and serving areas
📊 Record food temperatures and follow portion control processes
🤝 Collaborate with dietary team members & other departments
🧑‍🍳 Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor
📣 Report any resident concerns to Nursing leadership

What We're Looking For

✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔ 1+ year of cooking experience in healthcare or long-term care
✔ Ability to follow recipes, production sheets, and sanitation procedures
✔ Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
✔ ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
✔ Ability to solve problems and stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen
