Function of Position:
The Coordinator II, Concurrent Enrollment, supports the growth and quality of Monroe Community College's College Now dual enrollment program. Reporting to the Director of Pre-Collegiate Partnerships, the Coordinator strengthens partnerships with high schools, expands equitable access to college-level courses, and ensures compliance with the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) standards. This role collaborates across college divisions and K-12 systems to create clear, equitable pathways from high school to college completion.
Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
Program Coordination and Partnerships
- Build and sustain partnerships with area high schools and districts to expand concurrent enrollment opportunities.
- Serve as the primary contact for high school administrators, faculty, and MCC departments.
- Coordinate the annual Concurrent Enrollment master schedule in collaboration with academic departments to support enrollment in courses that connect to MCC's academic programs.
- Develop and maintain concurrent enrollment agreements to ensure alignment with college and NACEP standards.
Student and Faculty Support
- Coordinate orientation, communication, and support for students, families, and instructors involved in College Now.
- Partner with Admissions and Marketing to promote concurrent enrollment and college readiness programs.
- Provide training and resources to high school and college stakeholders on concurrent enrollment policies and processes.
Data, compliance, and operations
- Collaborate with Institutional Research to track participation, outcomes, and overall program effectiveness.
- Monitor compliance with NACEP accreditation requirements and assist in maintaining accreditation status.
- Contribute to reports, presentations, and committees that support program assessment, continuous improvement, and pre-collegiate initiatives.

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Three years of experience in a secondary school or college setting or an organization that has educational partnerships, where values included promoting diversity, access, inclusiveness, and academic excellence.
- Experience with managing projects.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Proficiency with varied technology, such as office applications and program-specific applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with concurrent enrollment programs.
- Experience with college admissions, enrollment, and other higher education programs, or experience building relationships with high school partners.
- Commitment or proven strategies for fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently.
Additional Information:
Salary: Salary is determined based on experience, internal equity, and college budget. This position has a range of $52,000 to $58,000 and is based on the mentioned factors.
MCC offers a Flexible Work Policy for benefit-eligible employees. Types of flexible work arrangements include flextime/staggered shifts, remote work/telecommuting, and compressed work schedules.
