Position Overview

Stella-Jones is seeking a motivated Treating Engineer Helper to support the manufacture, processing, and handling of our high-quality lumber and round stock. In this role, you will work closely with our treatment team to ensure that our products meet rigorous specifications. Principal Responsibilities

• Production Support: Assist in the daily handling, manufacturing, and processing of lumber and round stock.
• Treatment Operations: Actively assist in changing treatment charges. This includes identifying and inspecting materials for conformance, ensuring binders and cables are secure, and efficiently moving and storing charges.
• Operational Versatility: Perform the core duties of Inspector, Machine Operator, and general Laborer positions as needed to ensure plant workflow remains steady.
• Logistics & Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment, assist in loading railroad cars, trucks, and trams, and perform regular inventory counts.
• Site Maintenance: Maintain a safe and organized work environment by performing yard cleanup and assisting with the maintenance of processing systems.
• Safety Excellence: Play an active role in the Stella-Jones safety program, ensuring all tasks are performed in accordance with our high safety standards.
