ay: $16.00-$24.00/hourTypical Starting Pay: $18.50/hour + $0.75 shift differential
Shift: 3rd (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Team Size: 2-person crew
Job Summary:
Join our manufacturing team as a Demolding Operator. You'll remove finished concrete products from molds, clean and prep molds for reuse, and work closely with teammates to maintain quality and efficiency. This is a physical, hands-on role that involves climbing into machines, working in confined spaces, and getting dirty. If you have experience in the concrete industry or operating a sit-down forklift, you'll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demolding & Mold Prep (40%)
- Remove products from molds manually and with tools
- Clean, wax, and reset molds for the next cycle
- Climb into machines to apply wax and clean molds
- Quality Control (20%)
- Inspect products and follow quality standards
- Equipment Operation (20%)
- Safely operate hoists, sit-down forklifts, carts, and impact wrenches
- Housekeeping & Maintenance (10%)
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Report maintenance issues
- Data Entry (5%)
- Log production data and manage work orders
- Team Support (5%)
- Attend meetings and assist other departments as needed
- High School Diploma or 4+ years of manufacturing experience
- English fluency (read, write, speak)
- Forklift experience preferred
- Comfortable with computers and basic math
- Able to lift up to 130 lbs (with assistance)
- Safety-focused and able to work in confined spaces
- Experience in concrete or similar heavy-duty industries is a plus
- Manufacturing setting with heat, noise, dust, and fumes
- PPE required: safety glasses, steel/composite toe boots, ear protection
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting
