Description
Position: Dietary Aide - Full TimePay: $17-$21 per hour
East Bay Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our full-time team. The Dietary Aide reports to the Dietary Supervisor and Cook and is responsible for preparing and serving meals, cleaning the kitchen area, and ensuring a sanitary dining experience for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and set up patient meal trays.
- Distribute and serve meals and snacks to residents.
- Collect and clean used meal trays, including stripping trays and washing dishes.
- Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, monitoring chlorine and water temperature.
- Restock groceries and supplies in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Assist with general kitchen duties, including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
- Help orient and train new dietary staff.
- Collaborate effectively with all department personnel.
