Job Title: Drain Cleaner
Location: Chicago, IL
Compensation: starting pay with little to no experience is $20/hr + Overtime Potential
Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday, with potential on-call rotation

Position Summary
All City Environmental is hiring a Drain Cleaner to perform professional drain line cleaning and inspection services for residential and commercial customers. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, safe driving habits, and the ability to work independently in the field while representing the company with professionalism and courtesy.
What You'll Do
- Perform general drain cleaning services using hydro jet or mechanical cleaning tools
- Conduct video inspections of drain lines to diagnose problems and identify obstructions or structural issues
- Complete preventative maintenance jobs and emergency service calls as assigned
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at every job site
- Keep accurate job notes, photos, and service documentation through a company-provided tablet
- Operate and maintain company equipment safely and effectively
- Communicate findings clearly to management and customers
- Drive and work safely at all times, following all DOT and company safety requirements
- Keep a company service vehicle clean, properly stocked, and equipped with PPE and tools
- Complete required safety training and follow all company policies
- Participate in an on-call rotation when needed
- Perform other duties to support service success as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience with drain cleaning, sewer jetting, plumbing support, or equivalent mechanical field experience preferred
(however, motivated mechanically inclined candidates will be considered) - Must be 21 or older
- Current valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card (company will assist)
- Comfortable using mobile/tablet technology for service documentation
- Ability to work safely in residential, commercial, and outdoor environments
- Ability to lift and carry tools or equipment up to 50 lbs as needed
