What You'll Do

• Safely transports residents to and from medical appointments, community outings, and other scheduled destinations.
• Assists residents in and out of the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Conducts pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Keeps the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
• Complies with all traffic laws, facility safety policies, and HIPAA confidentiality requirements.
• Assists the Maintenance Director with routine maintenance and repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping tasks.
• Performs basic building inspections and reports safety or maintenance concerns.
• Helps set up or move furniture and equipment as needed.
• Responds to work orders promptly and ensures timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Participates in safety drills and supports emergency preparedness activities as assigned.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of driving experience, preferably transporting elderly or disabled individuals.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair preferred.
