Job DescriptionAs a Facilities Maintenance II here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and operation of Honeywell's facilities. You are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities related to facility maintenance, repairs, and operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing budgets, and coordinating maintenance tasks. Your leadership and management skills will contribute to optimizing facility performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and creating a positive and productive workplace for employees.
In this role, you will impact facility-related issues proactively and will contribute to the smooth functioning of our operations as well as enhance the overall business performance. You will help create a well-managed and optimized facility infrastructure that supports our business objectives and enhances the employee experience.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of facility projects and repairs.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems, including smoke detectors, pull stations, control panels, and emergency lighting, ensuring compliance with local fire codes and NFPA standards.
- Execute structured cabling and network infrastructure installations, including running data cables, terminating connections, and testing network performance.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems in a facility environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.

- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of HVAC and building automation systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- NICET Level 1 or higher
