Job Summary:

As an Engineer, Architectural Service Team (AST), you will be the go-to expert providing consulting services for product solutions to potential customers. You'll guide them through the maze of specs, systems, and solutions to support the design professional's performance and aesthetic requirements - ensuring Kawneer products are seamlessly integrated into world-class projects.

In this role, you will:

• Review and understand architectural design drawings to provide appropriate technical solutions for project specific requirements.
• Provide timely response to architects, designers and specifies as follow up to direct e-mail, phone and web inquires.
• Provide standard, modified and custom detail information to design professionals for project specific requirements.
• Utilize the company website to assist design professionals.
• Work closely with the commercial sales organization to maximize promotional opportunities to close bid projects.
• Identify and communicate emerging market and/or product needs to the product management group.
• Promote new products whenever possible.
• Counsel customers on matters of product selection, product application and installation processes.
