Description

The Equipment Operator (Maintenance) supports facility and infrastructure maintenance through skilled operation of heavy machinery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as backhoes, skid steers, and loaders.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance projects.
• Transport materials and assist with repairs.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Follow safety regulations and maintenance protocols.
Organizational Relationships

• Reports to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Works with maintenance crews and technicians.
Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years equipment operation experience.
• CDL license preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance and repair practices.
Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Prolonged equipment operation required.
Work Environment

• Field-based in maintenance and repair environments.
Travel
