Description
Job Duties:
Planning and carrying out research projects, helping to educate students, ie. Master's and PhD candidate levels.
Collaborate with our Orthopedic Residents and Sports Medicine Fellows on research projects.
Write weekly progress reports on assigned projects.
Publish at least one peer-reviewed manuscript and one book chapter during their stay and present their work at a national conference.
Participate in sports medicine academic curriculum.
The individual in this role will benefit from participating in the academic curriculum. They will learn real research methodology and strategy in one-on-one meetings with their mentor, Professor Volker Musahl. This candidate will have an opportunity to observe orthopedic surgical procedures and clinical protocols, and they will learn the strategies of grant writing and will be able to present and defend scientific presentations.
An MD in Medicine is required
