• Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for providing senior management with analysis and insight into Mizuho America's financial results.

• This position will work closely with a variety of seasoned professionals across teams and functions to create management information for senior executives to aid in understanding revenue performance, expense trends, resource consumption, and how these parameters inform business strategy.

• Completion of high-quality deliverables within the committed timeframe, including Month/quarter/ annual reporting for BoD , MC , FRB as well as annual planning and forecasting.

• Prepare v ariance analysis along with preparation of management presentations describing insights .

• Participate in or conduct a wide range of financial analyses on critical and complex issues which may include variance analysis, forecasts, budgeting .

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 + years of specific roles in business planning, budgeting and/or financial analysis required.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret a wide range of financial information.

• Capacity to multi-task and deal with shifting priorities, while always maintaining focus on delivering timely information to management or other key stakeholders.

• Excellent understanding of multi-dimensional profitability (business, region, product , entities ) and performance analyses

• Desire to work proactively and contribute to business growth and transformation.

• Excellent o r al and written skills , attention to detail, focus on accuracy, intellectual curiosity .

• Ability to form presentation concept from on-going ideas generated through data production and analysis.

• Proficiency in Excel , PowerPoint and Dashboard (Power BI ), familiarity with Hyperion Planning/Essbase a plus.

The expected base salary ranges from $91,000 - $1 50 ,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
