Description
This position provides a wide range of fiscal and financial administration support duties for Student Success departments, including management and coordination of budgetary and financial activities and processes for departments, serving as a liaison between RMD and other executive offices, colleges, and departments. Responsibilities include fiscal and administrative support for departments and stakeholders across the unit, analysis of financial data and preparation of reports, budget management, processing of transfers for multiple funding sources, as well as ensuring compliance with university and functional policies and procedures for the conduct of university business.Minimum: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or other field directly related to the position's specific responsibilities and 0-2 years of fiscal related work experience. Or a Bachelor's degree in no specific required field and two years of fiscal related work experience. Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree.\n

This job description does not constitute an employment contract.Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of financial reports, spreadsheets, ad hoc reports and consolidated financials, which are used by management/accountable officers to make financial decisions. Perform analysis of assigned departmental financial statements including review of budget versus actuals analysis.

Process and monitor all cash transfers, including but not limited to, operational cash transfers, Living Learning Community Fee transfers, and Health Fee transfers for the Student Success unit.

Performs bi-weekly payroll reviews and periodic audits to ensure proper costing distributions. Prepares cost adjustments and corrective journal entries as necessary.
\n
Assist in preparation of annual operating budgets, budget recasts and balancing funding commitment. Compile data of annual operating budgets, trends of actual expenditures and revenues for analysis. Prepare and process budget transfers as necessary. Participate in budget uploads, re-balancing and mid year reporting.

Assists with USF Foundation fund reconciliations and other financial administrator duties.
\n
Performs other duties as assigned.
