Position Overview:
The responsibilities of the Fleet Maintenance Associate include providing notification and support of vehicle maintenance to both drivers and their department managers, scheduling services, assisting with Fleet Ticketing system, and an overall resource of information for drivers. Position will also include some responsibilities pertaining to facility maintenance, including but not limited to monitoring and maintaining the facility and utility infrastructure of the Lynnwood & Everett locations.
Facility Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate & assist with all repairs and physical maintenance for the facilities, as well as ensuring preventive maintenance is scheduled and performed on all equipment, replacing light bulbs, etc.
- Perform immediate cleaning duties necessary to ensure clean facility.
- Monitor building and utility systems including Fire Sprinkler Alarm, Security Alarm, Elevator Maintenance & Annual Inspection and Certification, AED Monthly Testing, and Annual Backflow Testing (Coordinate and Manage the results).
- Solicit bids and quotes from facility, landscape, and maintenance vendors.
- Coordinate work completed by third party vendors.
- Order and organize office supplies and maintain supply room inventory.
- Dismantle, install furniture, and reconfigure meeting rooms as needed.
- Assist in addressing general maintenance requests.
- Participate in establishing the site’s facility and utility practices, policies, and procedures, including the building Safety manual.
- Establish and adhere to all safety procedures and practices affecting building facilities and utilities.
Fleet Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of vehicles and the needs of the drivers.
- Maintain keys in an orderly manner and in a secure place for all vehicles in the fleet.
- Assist in pulling tags, insurance cards, and other governmental identification and distributing them to fleet of drivers.
- Review the condition of vehicles and recommend routine and preventative maintenance.
- Prepare report that list drivers who are past due on their routine vehicle maintenance to provide to immediate supervisor.
- Work with immediate supervisor on fleet policies & procedures.
- Prepare paperwork for auctioning of end-of-service vehicles and coordinate their removal from the campus.
- Repair or replace communication devices as needed.
- Schedule and ensure vehicles are outfitted and branded appropriately.
- Confirming that new or current drivers have Holman App and approved MVR before vehicle assignment and distribution.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess excellent organizational skills as well as solid communication skills.
- Ability to work in both a team environment and independently, with minimal supervision.
- High degree of flexibility and tolerance for change
- Able to perform medium-exertion work. Frequently requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling 20-50 lbs., climbing (ascending or descending ladders, stairs), stooping, kneeling, crouching, etc.
- Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software
- Must be a self-starter, with ability to work well as part of a team and independently
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- AA preferred
- Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software
Required Licensing and Other Certifications:
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
