Department: Campus Recreation & Wellness

Salary: $25 per hour for non-student instructors and $13 per hour for student instructors

Description:

UHCL is seeking Group Fitness Instructors to lead safe, engaging, and motivating group exercise classes that create an inclusive and energetic environment for participants of all fitness levels.

Duties:

• Plan and deliver effective workouts, providing clear instruction and modifications.
• Maintain a welcoming presence and uphold facility policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

1. Certification through a nationally accredited agency such as AFAA, NASM, or ACE.
2. Must have current CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to obtain one within six weeks of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous group fitness instruction experience.
