SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Human Resources/Training Intern.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP's Human Resources team is seeking a creative,technically savvy Human Resources Intern who has interest in developing andadministering employee training content. The intern will gain hands-onexperience conceptualizing, researching, designing, creating and presentingtraining curriculum and individual training modules. Additional exposure will include learning to administerfunctionality within the company's Talent Management System (launch, monitor,report, troubleshoot, etc.). The workwill require significant interaction with HR peers, internal business partners,company leadership and employees, so we are looking for a confident,professional-minded individual.
This is an on-site position at our campus is Middletown, RI, andis slated to run from January through August 2026. During the academic year the expectation isfor the intern to work 20 hours over 3 days each week; during summer break therole is slated to be 40 hours per week.
Wage:$20.00/hr
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with designing and training programs that stimulate employee learning and productivity.
- Assisting with creating curriculum and content for SEACORP training.
- Support and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and evaluate feedback.
- Work with recruiting team to assess current LMS System and learning modules.
- Upkeep and Maintenance of the current LMS system.
- Creating and updating user guides for current LMS system.
- Create presentations that will be presented to SEACORP's Business Partners.
- Assist with other HR duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: A currently matriculating student in a degree-bearing college program, preferablya junior or senior student working on a bachelor's degree in human resources ora related field. An interest in Human Resources or Training & Developmentis preferred.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; previous experience as an end user of a database or 'system'.
- Communication - excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organization - ability to accomplish tasks in an organized, timely fashion; highly detail-oriented.
- Prioritization & urgency - ability to handle multiple competing priorities and follow-through on tasks.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
