Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Lead for the Intelligent Mobility Services' (IMS) Digital business line within the IMS and Mobility Global Business Area. The role will manage the associated P&L to grow revenue and margin, while enhancing our brand and leading position across our digital products.
The dimensions of this role include leading the development and execution of our digital strategy built around clients to provide integrated solutions of human + digital. Working closely with account leaders across the organization in support of the execution of our digital strategy and sales of our digital products.
While our remit is global, the role will be primarily focused on Canada and US. Location is flexible and can be in any major urban area.
Role accountabilities:
- P&L Leadership:
- Lead (in collaboration with the Sales Director and IMS Business Area Director) the development of the digital strategy, through multi-year plans to accelerate growth, increase net revenue and grow market share within the Sector
- Digital products would include existing Arcadis products (Transit Suite, Traveler Information, etc) and products developed in cooperation with our ecosystem partners (Roadway Safety, Bridge Health, etc).
- Take a leadership role with project teams providing direction and technical advice as-needed.
- Client Management:
- Champion the use of client experience surveys, their completion and feedback. Proactively work towards strengthening and broadening client relationships.
- Lead business development activities focused on key clients in state, regional and municipal governments and authorities.
- Lead the continued development of value propositions and services related to the propositions IMS provides.
- People Management:
- Maintain a culture that is client-centric, innovative and people focussed to ensure ongoing client satisfaction, cutting edge solutions and engagement of staff.
- Manage resources with particular attention to recruitment, retention and the establishment of robust succession plans for all key positions, to maximise opportunity, delivery and profitability.
- Build an effective and enduring relationships with other Arcadis teams locally and globally.
- Industry Engagement:
- Build a strong reputation and a vast network of contacts in industry.
- Be a thought leader in the application of technologies to solve transportation challenges for our clients.
- Engage and host events within the industry.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's or master's degree related to transportation system planning, engineering or management
- 10 years of experience, with a proven track record of leading teams, projects and P&Ls
- Experience as a senior technical expert in the application of technologies in the mobility space
- Demonstrated ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Well established client management and business development skills in a consultancy environment
- Well-developed commercial skills, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures, and experience of taking commercial responsibility for major projects, programs and businesses

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $164,063-287,111. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
