Door Control Services, a DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire an Inside New Construction Estimator for our team in Amarillo, TX. We are recruiting individuals that are great communicators, able to prioritize and multitask, and have a knack for numbers. This role would be a great position for Math Teachers looking to move out of teaching or if you have experience in accounting, finance, customer service, business, marketing, administration, assistant, billing/payroll, or construction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Learn to bid doors of all different types for new construction and aftermarket projects across the territory (no travel required).
- Provide a superior level of communication with internal and external customers.
- Review construction drawings and specifications to determine bid strategies, quantities and costs.
- Create professional submittal and closeout documents.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to completion.
- Remain involved with projects throughout the entire construction process.
- Create ideas that promote continuous improvement for the team and the company.
- Other duties may be assigned
Job Requirements:
- Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems
- Must be detail-oriented and good with numbers
- Experience with blueprints/plans and specs (preferred)
- Must have an outgoing personality and a natural affinity for taking care of customers
- References must be able to tell us that you have an outstanding work ethic, are highly reliable, self-motivated and goal oriented with a drive to be successful
- Must have good time management skills, be organized and have the ability to multi-task
