- Inventory Manager
Description
All aspects of inventory will run through this job. This candidate will have the ability to work well with others and interact with multiple departments. Essential Functions
- Analyze new projects set up to correct product codes.
- Maintain product ID database for inventory items.
- Maintain product ID database for non-inventory items including software and licensing.
- Work with SEs to maintain proper non inventory status on all electronic delivery items, including new Product ID set up for new manufacturers.
- Liaison with inside sales on product ID for quoting
- Run daily inventory reports, reconcile with accounting.
- Oversee all cycle counting.
- Track down errors in product inventory, resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Create and monitor all inventory adjustments.
- Maintain true inventory open purchases vs. project specific inventory.
- Help create true inventory purchasing system for Service department.
- Run inventory reports for financial team.
- Review service tickets for proper inventory charges to customer.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in door frame hardware industry and at least 3 years in warehouse management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Extremely reliable with great organizational skills.
- Detailed individual, but able to manage at a high level.
- Self-motivated, problem-solving individual
- Ability to understand how data flows in software system and develop understanding of the innerworkings of ConnectWise purchasing, drop ship and project set up.
Physical Demands
This position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.
Work Environment
This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.
