Description
Essential Functions: Changed from Key Duties and Responsibilities1. Set up, operate, and monitor machine to produce corrugated products and record operational data
2. Review work orders or production schedules to determine: Specifications such as material to be used.
3. Selecting and install machine components
4. Start machine to verify setups, and make any necessary adjustments
5. Start machine and move controls to regulate tension on pressure rolls, to synchronize speed of machine component
6. Examine completed work to detect defects and verify conformance to specifications, using measuring evices such as rulers, micrometers, and adjust machinery as necessary to correct production problems
7. Remove defective or substandard materials from machines, and readjust machine components so that products meet standards
8. Follow designated quality escalation process
9. Utilize computer to input production data as required
10. Maintain production records, such as quantities, downtime and production issues
11. Move stock or scrap to and from machines manually, or by using carts, hand trucks, or lift trucks
12. Clean and perform preventative maintenance on machines as required
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

The role will begin as a long‑term temporary assignment on second shift, with a permanent move to third shift.
The Training Rate (Level 1) is $27.82, and the Certified Rate (Level 2) is $26.17.
