We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician to help keep our production lines running smoothly and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you'll repair, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment while ensuring a safe, compliant, and high-quality production environment.

What You'll Do
Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment (both electrical and mechanical).
Perform and document preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Conduct regular inspections to identify issues early and keep equipment running efficiently.
Verify that all safety covers, guards, and devices are in place and operating correctly.
Support other mechanics/electricians and assist department supervisors as needed.
Complete detailed work reports after each assignment.
Train other team members on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Associate's degree (A.A.) in a related field, or 25 years of relevant experience in processing or packaging machinery/equipment.
- Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and PLC programming.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience in Food Manufacturing
- Vocational training or post-secondary degree in a technical field
- Experience using a CMMS system
Physical & Work Environment
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, push/pull equipment, and stand/walk for 8-hour shifts.
Comfortable working around moving machinery, in varying temperatures, and with occasional exposure to fumes or vibration.
Ability to climb stairs and work in elevated areas.
