Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
Shift Hours: 12pm-8:30pm
Hourly Rate: $28.00
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to manage the day-to-day operations and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment. This hands-on role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with technical expertise and a focus on operational excellence.
The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs, coordinate with vendors, and assist with facility planning and improvement projects. You will help ensure compliance with safety, building, and environmental standards while supporting sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks, including light carpentry, basic electrical work, HVAC troubleshooting, and grounds upkeep.
- Assist with facility construction and repair projects, estimating labor, materials, and associated costs.
- Serve as a liaison with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective services.
- Support internal office moves, including furniture and partition setup.
- Develop and maintain facility plans, layouts, and operational improvements.
- Promote environmental sustainability by implementing energy-saving and resource-efficient practices.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff when needed.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Education: Associate degree (or equivalent experience) with 3+ years in maintenance/facility operations; or High School Diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Commitment to sustainability and continuous operational improvement.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $47,300.00 - $75,700.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
