- Maintenance Technician
Description
Essential Functions1. Helping meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals through a quality maintenance program
2. Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems to repair and maintain all equipment in accordance with plant policies and procedures
3. Using micrometers, calipers, tachometers, and dial indicators for precision measuring
4. Calibrating process instruments
5. Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
Work any shift, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Required
• Experience working with 480-volt motors
• Experience troubleshooting motors and motor control circuits
• Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
• Ability to fabricate, measure, cut, and assemble metal components with precision i.e. mounts, guards
• Skilled in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
Desired
• Strong lathe and mill knowledge
The position is for the third shift, working from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with expected overtime based on business needs, including Saturday work.
The entry pay rate is $36.42 during training, with a certified rate of $38.56.
