The candidate will have the opportunity to grow and learn surrounded by talented engineers, physicists, and technicians working on long-standing programs and new programs supporting our customers.
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain, service, and conduct minor repairs on buildings and equipmentPerform a variety of semiskilled duties in the areas of plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, painting, and DrywallAssist other workers with their tasksComply with established safety guidelines and proceduresWork from blueprints, manuals, written and/or verbal instructionBack-up for Shipping & Receiving - handling incoming and outgoing shipments including freight packages and purchased materials, consisting of creating paperwork trails and shipment labels with attention to detailValidate shipping contents to purchase orders
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent2-5 years of general maintenance work experienceValid Drivers LicenseMust have organizational skills and possess the ability to appropriately prioritizeBasic computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office tool suiteModerate to strenuous physical effort, involving standing, sitting and use of hands while performing duties, manual dexterity, multiclimb coordination, climbing ladders, static strength (muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects), trunk strength (abdominal and lower back muscles to support the part of the body repeatedly or continuously in action), carrying or lifting up to 50 poundsWorking environment is indoor, sometimes loud, reasonably clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated; moderate physical hazards may existUS Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, if needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of maintenance work experienceExperience operating a forklift a plusExperience with hand and power toolsPrior shipping/receiving/warehouse/inventory experienceHVAC maintenance experience

Pay Range:
Salary at SARA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $22 to $30 (hourly USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SARA's total compensation package for employees.
