Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Manager to join our Orthopedics Team in Jacksonville, Florida!Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville is affiliated with Wolfson Children's Hospital and provides compassionate care for children with complicated health issues. Serving families from northeast Florida and southeast Georgia, our main specialty care location sits on the southbank of the St. Johns River. We also provide expert specialty medical care at our locations in South Jacksonville (near Baptist Medical Center South), Fleming Island and Nocatee.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides supervision, leadership, and mentoring to a group of APPs in collaboration with Physician Leadership and Service Line Administrators
- Coaching, teaching and mentoring all APP associates, providing appropriate feedback and promoting Nemours culture of safety
- Ensure that projects are planned, managed and supportive of the long-term range goals to align with enterprise and nursing goals.
- Fosters an atmosphere that promotes creative productivity and teamwork.
- Promote research to include clinical application and evidence-based practice activities.

Qualifications
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or current certification as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Florida Licensure as a Physician Assistant required upon hire or Florida Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse required upon
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner preferred (PNP) if an Advanced Practice Nurse
- BLS required upon hire from the American Heart Association
- Prior healthcare/patient care experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with Pediatrics or Child Health preferred
- Federal DEA registration either active or required upon hire
- Previous leadership experience required
