We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous individual to join our team as a Marketing Data & Analytics Intern. This role is crucial for combining various data sets to analyze trends, maintaining the integrity of our core datasets and ensuring the accuracy of our marketing and business intelligence reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to detail and a foundational understanding of data handling and analysis.
Our full time 2026 Summer Internship Program is a paid nine-week experience (June 1st, 2026 July 31st, 2026). You will be responsible for certain tasks your manager will assign you, and you will also be responsible for a summer-long, comprehensive project. The results of your project will be presented to your team at the end of the summer. As a Summer Intern, you will also be provided opportunities for personal and professional development through the program content. This will include different speakers' series and other professional growth opportunities. The program content will be completely virtual, but you will be expected to report out of the office in which your team is based (details above). You will also have the opportunity to learn more about Learfield through a visit to one of our campus properties in the area as well as cross-departmental interactions during the summer.
This Irvine-based role will be a hybrid model with four days in the office (Monday Thursday) and one remote day on Fridays, unless specific projects demand in-person activity.
Responsibilities
Data Standardization & Integration: Meticulously normalize and integrate data from multiple disparate list sources to establish consistent standards for high-quality input.
Insight Generation: Analyze the integrated, unified dataset to generate accurate and comprehensive insights, informing key strategic decisions and market trend reports.
Platform List Management: Manage the end-to-end process of formatting and uploading CRM lists to key advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta) to facilitate precise user and lookalike targeting.
Data Storytelling: Pull benchmarking data, marketplace data and transactional performance data, then collaborate with our client Partner team to build applicable product adoption stories at the client level
Collaborate on visuals: Work with our Senior Data Consultant to move captured data insights into digestible presentation visuals and user-friendly dashboards
Qualifications:
Candidates who are juniors or seniors, with an expected graduation date no later than August 2027.
Ability to start work on Monday, June 1st and secure housing for the full nine weeks.
Meticulous Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to be thorough and precise, especially when reviewing documents and data.
Organizational Prowess: Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of maintaining precision while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Analytical Commitment: Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an unwavering commitment to accuracy in work.
Proactive Work Ethic: Demonstrates the ability to follow through with duties, requiring minimal micro-management and consistently checking their own work before submission.
Pay Transparency:
The pay rate for this position is $16.90/hour. Please note that this is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. The pay rate will comply with all minimum federal, state, and local wage/salary requirements.
