DescriptionVitalant is looking for an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to bring skilled technical support to our Centralized Document Review department in El Paso, TX. Blood banking experience strongly desired.

What to Expect
Schedule: M-F 6:00 am - 3:00 pm / Every other Weekend and Holidays needed.

- Provide technical guidance related to eligibility and medical record documentation post collections.
- This is a non-bench position.
- Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services.
- Review and report test results.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent (must receive MLS certification within 6 months of eligibility)
- or
- Bachelor's degree in approved Science (Biology, Chemistry, etc) and currently possess certification from an accredited agency as MT/MLS
- State licensure as required by regulations (Must have or obtain CA State License)
- 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience meeting Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist educational requirements
- or
- 5 years or more experience as Medical Laboratory Technician
