Description

Check new admissions for completion of required data to meet Licensing and Certification requirements. Assembles new admissions records, indexes and codes diagnoses. Maintain medical records according to records retention guidelines. Audit medical records. Process and file records of discharged residents Process and respond to medical records requests and document subpoenas. Maintain adequate supply of recommended forms at the nurse's station. Verifies MDS and Care Plan completions as scheduled. Assists physicians as requested.
