Midtown Oaks Post Acute is hiring a Medical Records Director to manage and maintain resident medical records in a skilled nursing facility setting. This role ensures accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and confidentiality of all patient records.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain medical records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Ensure timely, accurate, and complete charting
• Prepare records for audits, surveys, and inspections
• Coordinate with nursing, admissions, and billing departments
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Train staff on documentation standards as needed

Qualifications:

• Medical records experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
