- Non-Clinical Compliance Auditor
Description
General PurposeThe Non- Clinical Compliance Auditor is responsible for performing compliance audits on operational, financial and regulatory matters to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. This role also involves participating in internal audits, investigations and ethics response, as well as providing education, training, and enforcement, as requested.
Essentials Duties
- Conduct non-clinical compliance audits on operational and financial information to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Develop audit reports and identify areas of non-compliance, provide recommendations and request corrective actions.
- Assist Director, and DCCO with data analysis of internal audits, investigations as requested, in addition to preparing findings.
- Assist in the development and delivery of targeted educational materials based on internal audit findings and corrective action plans.
- Stay updated on state and federal regulations
- Assist in Triple Check development, training and enhancements to improve compliance and accuracy in billing and coding practices.
Qualification (Education and/or Experience)
- Bachelors or Masters degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in and coding compliance auditing.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to healthcare billing and coding.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Advanced Excel skills required
Physical Demands
This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and computer use, with occasional walking, standing, bending, and reaching. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds and visual acuity for reviewing detailed documents are necessary. Occasional travel to facilities or meetings may also be required.
