Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective, physician-approved treatment plans for patients.
- Provide direct patient care and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, in line with state practice acts.
- Train restorative aides to ensure continuity of care.
- Communicate patient progress, problems, and plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and other required information in a timely and compliant manner.
- Educate patients, families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs and caregiving techniques.
- Facilitate discharge planning and recommend necessary durable medical equipment.
- Maintain departmental equipment in good working order and report any issues.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of California.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
