Description
The Department of OB/GYN at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified academic generalist to join our growing Division of Specialists in General OB/GYN. This is an exciting opportunity for an academic generalist with a commitment to excellence in patient care, education and scholarly activity. About the USF Department of OB/GYN: The department has ACGME-approved fellowships in Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Its Research Division in Reproductive Science, and Gynecologic Oncology has well established and funded lines of basic/translational research.MINIMUM:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. \n
- Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. \n
- For Associate or Full Professor - Normally will have produced creative work, professional writing or research in refereed and other professional journals, and be a recognized authority in the field of specialization. \n
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Must have completed Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology with an interest in teaching and patient care. Must have or be eligible for a Florida Medical License. \n
- Positive factors for consideration include but are not limited to excellent record of clinical care with several years of teaching/supervising experience and demonstrated leadership skills. We will also consider new OBGYN graduates with academic career interests. Great communications skills and ability to work in a team-based environment required. \n
