- Operations Support - Plasmasource
Description
Description Plasmasource is seeking a Technician, Center Operations team member to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant management of blood products, supplies and facility support in alignment with Vitalant's mission to provide life-saving blood products to patients and communities. This is not a phlebotomy role you will support both the phlebotomy team and operations.
What to Expect
Schedule: Full - Time 40 hours per week. Rotates Saturdays.

- Help support our blood collection specialist by assisting with donor needs and comfort.
- Process collected specialty blood products which includes separation, labeling and freezing.
- Operations tasks such as temperature monitoring of equipment.
- Order center supplies and maintain inventory.
- Pack and ship out specialty blood products.
- Work in a cutting-edge plasma center, which thrives on teamwork and positivity!
Requirements
- High School diploma required. Associate's degree in biology, medical technology, supply chain management, or related field; or equivalent education/experience) required.
- Valid in-state Driver's license required.
- Previous experience in blood banking, medical laboratory, or healthcare warehouse environment preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, AABB, cGMP) strongly preferred.
